Our quaint 1930's guesthouse overlooks the main street of Wells, beautiful Slide Mountain and the Cornish Mountain meadows.
Wells is a historic Gold Mining town in the Cariboo Mountains, 80 km east of Quesnel, on BC's Gold Rush Trail. We're the gateway to Barkerville Historic Park, the Bowron Lake Canoe Circuit and the Cariboo Mountains. Wells was the largest town town in BC north of Hope as late as the 1950's! Today, the tiny town that remains, retains its historic charm and 1930's period architecture and is now renowned for our Arts History, and Culture. Our 3 bedroom and two bath unit is both unique and adaptable to a wide variety of accommodation requirements. Our 1930's decor reflects the culture of the working class gold miners of the 1930's and 40's who once made Wells the largest city in BC, north of Vancouver.
